Before Design Data
Prior to August 2010, Worship Center shared its facility, staff and technology with Living Word Academy. At that time, the staff of 150 included a full time IT manager. Just last year, the church and school separated, and Worship Center moved to a brand new facility, leaving their servers and I.T infrastructure behind for the school.
Building an entire network from scratch and reducing their staff to 60 people, really changed their technology landscape. It was time to rethink their approach to I.T.
Making the Transition
Worship Center turned to Design Data to design and build its new network, which included 60 users on both PC and Mac platforms, multiple meeting rooms complete with Wi-Fi and HDTV, and a main auditorium with a 40-foot hi-def screen and full audio visual control center.
They also helped integrate security check-in units set up for the church’s children and youth programs, cash registers for the Main Street Café, and the Voice Over I.P. system set up through an entirely different vendor.

In addition, Worship Center signed up for Design Data’s ReThink i.t., an unlimited I.T. solution that offers complete support, monitoring and maintenance services for one low monthly fee.
Since the transition, Godshall has been impressed by the consistency of the new network, appreciating the uniformity of clean new set-up rather than the assortment of mix and match solutions they used to deal with.
